Thanks to those that made it out to 520 Swing last night, its always a good time. Next month the dance is on November 21st, (the weekend before Thanksgiving). We’re going to be tring out doing a beginner lesson starting at 9pm, so if you know anyone that’s been using the excuse “…but I don’t know how to dance!” their excuse is no longer valid.

This weekend is Armory Park, live music at 8pm, with a lesson at 7pm. I’ll be in Albuquerque at the Lindy Exchange, but if you’re in Tucson you should be at Armory Park.

Also, I just created a facebook fan page. So watch there for updates.

Espresso Swing Cancelled for July 4th

I’m sorry to report that Espresso Swing will be cancelled on July 4th for the holiday.
But just two weeks after that on July 18th we will be treated to Tucson’s latest dance venue: 520 Swing. Why 520? It’s the area code!

I’ve finally updated the theme to something a bit flashier.
The forum has been kinda slow for a long time now so I thought I’d try something new: comments are now turned on (at least for this post).  Hopefully we can get some discussion/feedback on the content here at swingtucson.com

Website Update

In case you noticed some strangeness going on here this afternoon, I was upgrading the website to Wordpress 2.7.1 in addition to some other under-the-hood upgrades.  I’m looking into giving the website a new look (if I find a theme I like) and possibly and easier to use photo gallery (more pictures yaaa!)
